The Brentford Project, is a 5 hectare waterside site in Hounslow combining residential, retail, employment, community and leisure uses. Retaining several heritage buildings and thoroughfares, the project offers an interplay of old and new that injects new energy into an under used stretch of waterside London – with architecture by renowned practices, HAL Architects, Allford Hall Monaghan Morris, and Stirling Prize-recognised Howells Architects and Maccreanor Lavington.
PT Projects are working across the site on a variety of elements, from a revitalised high street of traditional shops alongside a major supermarket, to a boutique cinema, refurbishment of old industrial buildings into new business premises for local craftspeople, cafés and pubs along the water frontage, and the transformation of the Grade II* listed St Lawrence’s Church designed by local Brentford architect, Thomas Hardwick.
